Hi everyone! I thought I might tell you a bit about what I do besides taking over as Wood CC for WVGenWeb Project. I am site coordinator for the Lancaster County, NEGenWeb Project web site I am the assistant for the Saline County, NEGenWeb Project, managing the web design for the Saline County Coordinator, Donna Brandt. The NEGenWeb Project's Ancestor's Sharing Center for the past 5 years and now recently turned over to the new site manager, Matt Friend. The Lincoln-Lancaster County Genealogical Society web site The Denton Community Historical Society web site The NEGenWeb Project 's Nebraska Obituary Abstracts web site And my personal family genealogy web site, Ancestral Whispers List Administrator for WVWOOD, NELANCAS, NE-LLCGS, NE-DCHS, GERMANS-NE-IA, GERMANS-WI & USA-TEACHERS mail lists, and also several message boards. Transcriptions - I have transcribed several NE-ANCESTREE JOURNALS for the NEGenWeb Project by permission from the Nebraska State Genealogical Society, and some books for the NEGenWeb Project's Online Library. I have finished working on the Lancaster County WWI Veterans Honor Roll book which is complete and online. Also I have finished working on "Growing Up With Tulsa" by Blanche Opal Kern Schad, a Harrison descendant and first cousin of my G-grandfather Herman R. Harrison. I am a life-long resident of Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska I started online genealogy in 1997 after several serious health problems caused me to retire (on disability) at age 41 after 23 years as a veterinary assistant and pet groomer.
