When I started as a volunteer in '98 with Brian Leveridge (sp?) - it was all free - and volunteerism. Why should another "business" charge $ for the work we've done - and offer it freely with the GenWeb. Of course - it more or less has become the same under Ancestry - our work is offered for $ there. I see my data on CDs that they charge $ for. I've deleted the message and offer.
