I would be against setting up this committee. What need has been shown for it? Who's asking for it? The website might be of use, but why not have an advisory board member set it up. Perhaps recruit another member to the board if it is already overburdened. As for personal one on one help, Can't we provide this to eachother as we have in the past? ummm - I feel like a dork here, but I have written many places asking for help on the query page for Doddridge County - I do not understand the directions on the web at all (if these are actually directions) I've gotten emails chastising me for not having it up yet - but when I write back and say that I can't figure it out, that seems to be the end of the correspondence. fran On 5/19/07, Margaret C. I don't remember seeing a request here for help and I don't remember seeing one on the RW-help list either. So, share the details of your problem. Are you running some sort of "guest book" like query page? If so I can't help you, because I decided 9 years ago they were more bother than they were worth to me. Are you trying to set up a link to the boards.ancestry.com query system? Or what?
