Hello, all: I have an easy question (maybe?) today. <G> Who was the second wife of Preston Kincaid? I have that he married 1) Margaret Johnson Feb 15 1854. As she is not listed in the 1860 census with her husband and children, I assume she died prior to the census. 2) ?? There are more children in Preston's 1870 household, but again, as in 1860, he no wife is listed. 3) Ann Eliza Thompson August 03 1871 (although I am puzzled by the death of the child Adam Kincaid, aged 1 month, April 14 1871, who is listed as a child of Preston and A.E. Kincaid). Ann Eliza died Oct 1876, about 2 months after the birth of her daughter Eliza. 4) Amanda Clay Dec 13 1877. Preston and Amanda are listed, along with their many children, in the 1900 census.
