Hi, Sharon: All I know is George Alexander Burnside moved to Fayette Co. from Monroe Co. sometime between the 1860 and 1870 census, probably after 1865 and before 1868, with his wife Sarah Noble (daughter of Benjamin Noble and Catharine Hurt) and their children. One of those children was Allen Burnside (born 1861), whose son Luther married into my James family. I can get you a list of Alex and Sarah's children from the 1860 and 1870 census if it would help.
