He was the son of: William Preston Ingram b. 1848, Fayette County (Was that also in Loup Creek?) d. Mar 20, 1920, Kincaid, Fayette County, WV, m. Minerva Light on Apr. 8, 1869. She was b. 1849, d. Jan. 20, 1920. William Preston's parents were: Robert Ingram b. 1819, d. Abt. 1902 and Hulda Johnson b. 1818, d. 1855 on Coal River, Fayette County, WV. They were married Sept. 14, 1832. Robert's parents were: James I. Ingram b. Abt. 1775 in England m. Margaret Kincaid b. 1794 in Greenbrier County, Virginia, d. 1850. They were married Oct. 24, 1800 in Greenbrier County, Virginia.
