Dempsey Ingram were not related as far as we can tell. Laura Belle's sister Octavia D. Ingram married October 19, 1882 Elijah Lewis Dempsey, a brother of William Henderson Dempsey. Octavia and Elijah had 11 children. Laura and Octavia had a sister Harriet F. Ingram (b. ca. 1871) but I don't have any information on her. These are the only children I have for Irvin and Mary. The father Irvin L. Ingram later married Susan Aliff Holestun (sp?) according to Geraldine Workman. She did not find a death record or a divorce record Irvin's wife Mary M. Dempsey Ingram.
