I've found some Berrys in earlier censuses so that's a great idea to compare districts- it's possible that "Hays" Berry is just a nickname and I've been looking at him the whole time as a different name. I still have to send for marriage info for Howard Berry and Myrtle Hall- that should give me a lead too. Thanks again!
