I don't know anything about the Montgomery area so bear with me please. Was Montgomery spread out back in 1910? Montgomery is the listed as the birthplace of Ruth Hazel Caldwell-trying to use that as a starting point for the census.. Does anyone know of any CALDWELL's of Montgomery back in the early 1920's? I realize that that is a large area. I am specifically looking for the JOHN CALDWELL ( possibly JOHN HENRY CALDWELL) and VIOLA LONG. I know of at least 2 daughters-RUTH HAZEL born July 9, 1910 and Annie Belle.. Ruth Hazel is my husband's link- we got the death cert. from Detroit, MI yesterday. She died there in 1965. She is buried in Culloden Cemetery. She married KENNETH HAMILTON. Don't know his parents names either. He is possibly from the same area. I am trying to get the parents info. I have been told that Viola is the daughter of LAWRENCE LONG & VIOLA ??? Is there a "Poutin' Holler" somewhere in the area? that name has come up as well. Any help or hints is appreciated.
