Kay, I haven't been to the cemetery but have the following directions: Chestnutburg Rd Cem, Ames Hgts Rd. 1.75 mi. off Rt. 19 I figure Rt. 19 is the road off of the New River Gorge Bridge so you'll just have to find Ames Heights Road. Hope this helps. Are you researching the Dempseys? Two of the stones (Viola Dempsey and Pearl Dempsey) that you may have seen on Jim Skaggs site list Wm. A. and Laura as parents. The stones must have been placed there by someone from the family. The father should be William H. (Henderson) Dempsey and Laura is Laura Belle Ingram. They were my great-grandparents. William Henderson was the son of William A. Dempsey also found there.
