May be of William and Amy's line. Could this be William and Nancy's Joseph Nelson Johnson b. ca. 1817? Mary Sims Hughes (the one with the unknown Hughes husband) had a daughter Elizabeth who married Nelson Johnson (see the suit). I noticed last night that Joseph Nelson and Nelson may be the same and wanted your input but thought I'd wait 'til you got back home. We may have to follow him through the later census to see if he was ever listed as Joseph. If anyone has the names of the parents for the following marriage it may clear the matter up. Date of Marriage: 14 Sep 1837 Groom: Nelson Johnson Bride: Elizabeth Huse Performed by: John Johnson County: Fayette County, (West) Virginia (Source: Fayette County, Virginia (now West Virginia) Marriages 1830 - 1850) > P. 2. Here, like you, I only have Hiram b. ca. 1833 s/o James & Mary. Thanks for straightening out all the others. Cathy > -----Original Message----- > From: David F.
