I'm going to attempt to interest you in visiting a web site that I developed for a client. Barb Pengelly collects authentic old historic documents with the signatures of some well-known and some obscure folks from the past. What's interesting are the "obscure" folks... everyday people like our ancestors whose names wound up on a document. Well, I'm not describing it very well but browsing her collection yesterday, I realized that she may have something that would help someone tracing their ancestors... a Virginia deed for example, or a bill of sale for a slave... one never knows.
