Does anyone know anything about a Thomas Ewing who may have been married to a Ruth? who was b. ab. 1820 and was living in Fay. Co. in 1850, with her children: 1850 Fayette County, Virginia Census, #532, Ewing, Ruth 30, Arrinda 10, Diana C. 8, Mary J. 7, Jas Thos. 3, Virginia 1. Could this Thomas be a brother to Diane Ewing b. abt. 1805, mar. to Samuel Kincaid, a. 1828 Mon. Co., his 3rd wife. She had a son Samuel Kincaid, b. a. 1830, and I believe he is living in Ral. Co. in 1880, no wife, but a son Silas age 9. Next door is living Jackson McDonald Ewing b. 1856 another s/o Ruth Ewing above. I've heard Ruth Ewing never married, but had children by several men. Jackson McDonald Ewing mar. a Sarah Adkins b. a. 1852. Who were her parents? Any help appreciated. Sherranlynn
