Is there anyone on this list researching the Jameses who settled on Beards Fork, that is beside myself and June Settle C. June and I are descended from Reuben James and Jane Smith who came from Franklin Co., Va abt. 1851. They came to Monroe County and left that county after the Civil War for Fayette Co where they settle on Beards Fork. Reuben had a daughter, Ruth James who m. William Radford 9 Oct 1848.
