    3. Apparently it was transcribed as Jingram in error - it appears as Jingram in both the 1880 Fayette Census book transcribed by William A. Marsh, and in the 1880 LDS US Census CDSs for Fayette county. I have a photocopy of a page from a book with 1880 census listings (may be index to 1880 census of Fayette County) but it looks like the person who made the copy spliced in the information on Irvin Ingram: > > V009 ingram(?) Irvin W M 35 Blacksmith WV WV WV > Mary M. W F 31 Wife Keeping house VA VA VA > Octavi D W F 14 Dau At home WV WV WV > Laura B. W F 12 Dau At home WV WV WV > Harriet F. W F 9 Dau At home WV WV WV > > Note that Irvin is listed on this page as "ingram(?)". I also have K036 Ingram Robert (father of Irvin) and K037 Ingram, W. P. (brother of Irvin) and their families on the same photocopy but Irvin's information seems to have been copied in under Robert and William Preston. > > There are three children listed below Harriet F. but I do not know if they belong to the Irvin Ingram family: > > John M. W M 8 WV WV WV > Sarah F. W F 7 WV WV WV > Mary S. W F 1 WV WV WV > > The next family is S038 Innis, Sherod(?). > > I do not have access to census data and hope that someone will be able to help me out here. I would like to know if there were only three children listed or if the next three also belong to the Ingram family. Irvin Ingram was a grandson of James Ingram and Margaret Kincaid (d/o Thomas Kincaid and Elizabeth Hannah Gillespie). > > Thank you, > Cathy
