Just to name a few Highlawn Memorial Park, East Main Street, Oak Hill Odd Fellows Cemetery, Foot of Woods Avenue, Oak Hill Duncan Cemetery, Central Avenue, Oak Hill Blake Cemetery, On the Jones Mansion Property, Main Street, Oak Hill The Methodist Church Cemetery, behind the Church, Main St. Oak Hill (no longer burying) Then there is the Sanger (formerly Meadow Fork) area with several small older cemeteries Gethseme (The Old Thurmond Family Cemetery is included) Cemetery, off Pea Ridge Road, near Oak Hill Several cemeteries in the Salem-Gatewood areas between Oak Hill and Fayetteville. These are areas now being read for Volume II, Fayette-Raleigh Genealogical Society book. It will not however include Highlawn, as this would be a very large book by itself. Oh, I forgot to mention the Hill Top Cemetery, at Hill Top. If you are looking at a map, Oak Hill is located in Fayette County, approximately 15 miles from Beckley, and approximately 60 miles from Charleston.
