Hope I'm not butting in but in "Fayette County (W)Va Marriages 1832-1853 & 1865-1903" by Larry Shuck I found on page 144: KINCAID, Preston md Margaret JOHNSON Feb 15 1854 KINCAID, Preston md Anne E. THOMPSON Aug 3, 1871; race: w; age: n/a, 28; he's widowed, she's single; he was born in Fayette Co., she was born in Bedford Co., VA; parents: his were John & Mary, hers were Nelson & Martha.
