I show Robert Edward Ingram in the 1870 Fayette census as 4 months old, which make him born in 1870 instead of 1871. He married Laura J. Blake April 6, 1892 in Fayette county (Shuck). Robert Edward Ingram's mother Minerva Light was my first cousin/ 3 removed, as Minerva's mother was Rachel Johnson, my GGG Aunt. Robert Edward Ingram;s father, William Preston Ingram, was my second cousin/ 3 removed, as his mother Hulda Johnson was my first cousin/ 4 removed. Hulda's father was William Johnson, my GGGG Uncle, who married Nancy Ann Simms. I have Robert Edward and as having the following children: Ernest L. 1896, Eva M. 1899, Ora V. 1901. Ernest shows up in the 1900, age 3, and 1910, age 13, Fayette census. Ora shows up in the 1910 Fayette census age 8, later married to Henry Hazelwood (Shuck). Eva shows up in the 1900 Fayette census age 1. It gets pretty tangled does't it! Hope this helps....

June, The following is what is in the Fayette Co History book by Peters & Cardin: "Benjamin Noble settled at the mouth of Mulberry, William Reese , William Settle and Alex Burnside up on Loop creek and Reuben James up on Beards Fork." Bev
Could someone with this book please do a look-up for me and send me what it says about Benjamin Noble and George Burnside (George married Benjamin's daughter Sarah). They would have arrived in Beards Fork/Mulberry ca1865-1869; they were enumerated in the 1870 census in Fayette Co. Thanks! June

Thanks June. The info that you provided is my line. Jasper Thomas , son of Harvey Bolt, mentioned below, married the Lucas. I have her name as Mannie, but it could be a nickname. I do know that Jasper and Mannie both died in Raleigh County. But, I am unsure as to when they moved there. I have been trying to find who this John Lucas was, but am unable to link him, as of yet ,to a family. Thanks again for your help! Hi, Becky: Perhaps these records can give you some leads. I could only find one Bolt family in the 1870 Fayette census: Fayetteville Township District Household #306. BOLT, Harvey 25 Farmer Martha 25 Minnie 3/12 (female) MCGRAW, Elizabeth 50 Marriage records: Henry G. Bolt to Martha E. McGraw August 6, 1870 race: w ages: 25 & 30 marital status: s, s born: Floyd Co., VA; Fayette Co., WV parents: Thos. & Sarah; Alex & n/a Webster K. Bolt md. Mary W. Kious October 17 1900 race: w age: 23 & 20 marital status: s, s born: Mason Co., WV; Fayette Co., WV parents: Harvey & Martha; James & Isabella I can find no Lucas family in the 1870 Fayette census. There are several Lucas marriages in the late 1800's, however, which makes me think they have moved to the area ca1880. Unfortunately, I do not have the 1880 Fayette census. Liisters I would like to thank everyone who wrote to me about the library at Morgantown last week. I tried to thank each personally, but accidently deleterd a couple of them. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you. Thanks very much, each reply had different advice and I heeded it all. Trip was well worthwhile and i'll go next year when the University is quiet for the summer. Now another request. What is the name of the gift shop on the turnpike near Pax?? Do they have a website. You may e-mail me privately so as not to fill everyone's mailbox. Thank you in advance.
