I am researching the McCune family that has its roots in Calhoun County. My McCune ancestor is Eliza McCune (died before 1850) who married Charles Rose (born about 1798 in Monroe or Bath Co.,VA) in 1825 in Nicholas County. Their daughter, Eliza Ann Rose, married Henry Dawson in 1861, and they were my great grandparents. I suspect that Eliza McCune is related to Peter McCune (born in Ireland in 1748, died 1832 in Calhoun County) but have been unable to make a connection. Can anyone help? Linda
