    2. Joyce A. Sinnett
    3. I would like to extend an invitation to all Keith and Parsons cousins from Calhoun, Gilmer and Roane Counties (no mater where you live now) to join us for a reunion. What: Keith-Parsons Reunion Date: September 19, 1998 Time: Noon - 5PM Place: Jackson Community Building Jackson Park Vienna, WV We will have good food (covered dish), history with slide show of some of our ancestors, games, door prize, and more. Our genealogy table has lots of good information. This is our annual time to catch up on cousins, meet "new" cousins, and have fun. I can just about guarantee that someone will be there with a headset radio listening to the WVU game, so you can keep up on the score. The younger children will play and have fun. By the way, we have some great cooks in our family, so the food is fantastic. We would love to have you. Y'all come! Joyce -- Joyce A. 1. Surname help
    2. Jeff Hatfield
    3. Hi, I have been researching my ANDERSON line for several years and keep running into a bind with my great-great grandmother, Barbara WOOD who was married to Dudley ANDERSON. Dudley was a son of Garrison ANDERSON (note: Garrison was a brother to Elias Ferman ANDERSON) and was born in Tyler (Now Wetzel) Co around 1853. He married Barbara in 1875. Barbara was born in 1857 and died in or around Calhoun Co in 1923 (per her grave marker at Liberty Hill Cemetary). I have not been able to find out anything on Barbara, but have Dudley's back to his ancestors in Harford Co MD. I have looked in various census records (Wetzel, Tyler, Calhoun, etc) and have not found her. I have the 1870 Calhoun census, but none later so I have not even been able to determine where she was born. Does anyone out there have any information on her or would be willing to check for her in the 1880 Calhoun Census for me. I am not sure whether they were in Calhoun County at this time, but it is a place to start. Any help would be appreciated and I would be happy to share any info on the Anderson line that may be helpful to someone. Thanks Jeff Hatfield jeffhatfield@mail.del.net

    3. I downloaded and printed the Wayne Book. When she found out that I had it, my Aunt Nora borrowed it. Last night she called me with these tidbits: 1. Tunis "Tune" Wayne was a stonecutter. He cut the stone for my grandparents cellar house which is still in the family. 2. A nephew of his is still in the building trades and recently did some work on that home for Aunt Nora who now owns it. Small World, Huh? Joyce -- Joyce A. 2. Jeff Hatfield
    3. Hello, I just signed onto this list last week and am just now getting around to posting something. I have a lot of family lines in Calhoun Co., as my grandparents lived all their lives there and surrounding counties. I actually spent the first two years of my life there and my grandmother moved from Mt Zion to Delaware about the same time as I did (1983). She just turned 88 and is a great source of info into my line. I am a grandson of Otho Sturm and Leah Brannon Sturm and am researching the following names: STURM, STARCHER, BRANNON, ELLIOT, HATHAWAY, ANDERSON, NUTTER, WEAVER, STALNAKER, JOHNSON, and others including my HATFIELD line in Ritchie Co (and also CHAMBERS, TURNER, STULL, BORDER, WILLIAMS, etc). I would love to hear from others who are researching these names and look forward to meeting more cousins from this area. Jeff Hatfield Millsboro Delaware jeffhatfield@mail.del.net
