    1. Thelma Kessler
    2. Hello Debbie and thank you for your note about Thelma Kessler. It is this type if brief memories I am looking for on the Kessler family of the Huntington/Hamlin area. Thelma died 20 Jan 2003 at the age of 98 and I do have a copy of her obituary. She was the last of her generation being the grandchild and of Archibald Washington Kessler and Mary Catherine Peck. I thank you so much for your posting. I spoke with her on the phone and I believe at the time she was living at Morris Memorial Nursing home. She donated a photo of her school class I think it was and we had it put up on display. At the time I worked for the Huntington Housing Authority and my mother and I did the memorabelia displays for them. I am not sure if I saved her obiturary or not. It is probably online at the Putnam Post/Cabell Record site. Im sure youve seen the various pictures of the hospital and read the stories written in several publications. We have one picture in our Cabell County history book from 1911. Debbie >>
