By the way, thanks to your posting I now know that the first Elizabeth UNKNOWN is actually Elizabeth Atkinson....Thanks for that info. I will give you as the source of the surname! This is what I have; Are the following 2 families the SAME family? Family 1 Thomas B CHILDERS (1766 - 3 Jan 1853) and his wife Elizabeth UNKNOWN (?-before 1860 Census) Children; 1. Sarah M. Childers (1798 - ?) may have married Hezekiah Midkiff ???? 2. Royal B. Childers (abt 1805 - ?) married Nancy MIDKIFF 3. Thomas Albertis Childers (abt 1819 - ?) married Miriam BIAS (daughter of Dicey Brumfield & Roland Bias3, Obediah Bias2, James Byass1) Family 2 Thomas CHILDERS and his wife Elizabeth UNKNOWN Child; 1. Jennetta or Janetta Childers (abt 1807 - ?) married David Bias (son of Nancy Jenkins & Roland Bias2, James Byass1 As the children of each couple have the same birth periods and their parents names are SO similar, I wonder if the 2 Thomas Childers are one and the same????
