I'm looking for info on Charles Preston Ayers, who lived in Huntington WV during the 30s and 40s. He adopted my grandfather and had my father and my father's sister live with him during the hardest part of the depression. He lived in a brick mansion at 1220 12th Street. Now, I believe the house has been turned into apartments. Charles Ayers was a builder. Any info would be appreciated.
