Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Thornton, the only living members of the first generation of the family of James G. and Elizabeth Thornton, were present. Also present were Mrs. Emma Shelton Grass and Mrs. Florence Heck, only living members of the first generation of the family of John and Susan Heck. Mrs. Grass was the oldest person present. The reunion was also a celebration of her 90th birthday. She came here last week from Akron, Ohio, for the reunion. Twenty- nine members of her family were present, including all of her children. Mrs. Florence Heck had the largest family present-38- including all of her children, some grandchildren, and great, grandchildren. The family of Elmer and Ida Thornton Heck had the largest group present of the Thornton family-17. The youngest person present was Stephen Lawrence Heck, three week old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Heck of Pratt, W Va. Among others present were Mr. and Mrs. Homer Heck and daughter, Henrietta, Mrs. Estella Ball, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ball and daughter Nancy Dee, of Milton, WV; Mrs. Myrtle M.
