I haven't been able to find a JC or James with a son JC or James born in 1854 yet. I thought David Burns may be his father due to the 1870 LIncoln Census listing a James C age 16 son to and living with David P. 56 yrs old and Ebbie 57 yrs old with a sister Jane 22 yrs old also. Now next door to them is a David Burns 20 yrs old with his wife Sophia 26 yrs ( looks like 26). Also the marriage to Alice A Lewis and the move to Cabell County around the same time as the other family is what confused me. I noticed James C. the son of David and Ebba has a birth date 4 Nov. 1854 on some ged files but they do not list the resource source nor any children or death info. I am trying to locate all of my James C Burns and Alice A Lewis children and list them, in hopes someone will recognize them. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks, Tiffany
