Kathleen, Spring Hill is a very large cemetery (over 30,000 burials) and only the cemetery office has a complete list of those buried there. There is a small list of burials printed in Carrie Eldridge's Cabell County Cemeteries from Spring Hill, but it's very small and I believe it was taken from the WPA list. Someone on this list may have those books and be willing to do a lookup for you. It's not hard to find out if Isabella is buried in Spring Hill. Just email Eldora at [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected]) and ask for information. She is very willing to help people. If you do not find her at Spring Hill, then the only choice you have is to search every cemetery list you can find for cemeteries in Huntington. I can name dozens of cemeteries located in Huntington, many of which are Online at the Cabell site. The largest ones are Ridgelawn, Woodmere, Spring Hill, and Highland. All of those are easy to check because records have been kept. Her name does not appear in the printed books for Ridgelawn or Woodmere. If you write Eldora, she can look in Spring Hill and Highland for you. If she does not appear in any of the above, then you are looking at a long, hard search because there are no records for the dozen of smaller cemeteries located in Huntington. Also don't forget cemeteries around the Cabell-Wayne County border such as Docks Creek or Bowen Cemetery. Candie In a message dated 8/27/2006 2:33:26 P.M. I was wondering if there are any cemetery transcription books that might have Spring Hill Cemetery in them?
