In the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census, he is with wife May. I guess May died or they divorced because Okey married Cora Lee (Clay) Roberts, d/o Lucinda Ailiff? Clay? in 1921 in Cabell County. Cora was born about 1893-ish in Wayne County, and she was still Mrs. Okey Hayslip at the time of her mother's death in October 1930 in Cabell County. Okey died August 8 1955 in Cabell County and is buried with Ina C. Hayslip (1889-1970) at Green Bottom Cemetery. Ina is the d/o Gallatin Crawford and Minnie Ellen Farley. Where did Cora go? I can't find a death record for Cora Hayslip, or a marriage record for Okey Hayslip and Ina Crawford...maybe Cora and Okey divorced and Cora remarried? Anybody with any info on Cora or any helpful hints? Thanks so much for your time!
