Ernie was like a father to me when I was in my teens living in Germany (1972 - 1976) I know his wife was named Carol and he had a Daughter named June Dayna Annette. Additional children were a son named Charles and two other daughters, Cathy and Earnestine. Ernie gave me something of great value that was to go to his daughter, June.
