I know that this is kind of vague but i am looking for a male Sands that died sometime between 1853-1863 He was married to a Nancy (Baker i believe). She remarried in 1863 to Wm HH Mulford in Cabell WV....... Thanks Chad

At the new LDS site there is a listing for the death of Joseph ALEXANDER Sands, [bn. circa 1856...died 25 Mar. 1931 in Franklin Co. Ohio...buried in Mason Co. WV] listed as son of: THOMAS SANDS and NANCY BAKER this would be the same person showing up in the 1870 Gallia Co. OH Census, as the step son of Wm. Mulford: Mulford, William 33 Nancy 32 SANDS, Alexander 15 Francis 13 Permilla 11 from Permilla's {Parmelia?} birth year, we can maybe assume that Thomas lived at least until 1859...? but for the life of me i'm unable to FIND Thomas Sands and family in the 1860 census ANYWHERE and suspect that he also may have been using his 'middle' name instead of Thomas in that census....nor can i find a Nancy Sands, or any of the children listed in 1860... there IS a Thos. Sands listed in a boarding house in 1860 Kansas "Territory"...listing this one as 24 and married... it is possible that Thomas Sands went west to make a living and perhaps never came back? or perhaps was killed in this 'territory'....or even a year later, when the Civil War started up, yes? well .......i may look a bit more.........good luck in your hunt!
