In 1896, young Edward Cloid Fagan was killed in a freak accident. Children were playing beneath bleachers that were being torn down and one accidentally pushed out a support. The bleachers collapsed and killed Edward. The event occurred on 25 Nov 1896. I'm hoping that someone would look up the event in the newspaper so I can get a true account. Sue did it happen in Cabell County? The Cabell Record is 1898 that we have at our library. Other years available downtown.
