As the writing may be unclear on these certificates what do you suppose the first name of the mother would be? Jersey, Jensie or Jane as the 1850 census states.? ? Did the?early settlers to Cabell county come there from a particular section of Virginia? or another state? ? I would like to research the Smith involvement?in the Civil War.?
