Here's the obit for their son-in-law - I'll send you the marriage of Mary Thelma Wheeler and Joseph Rappold later today...Lorna Huntington "Herald-Dispatch" 19 May 2005 ROBERT JOSEPH RAPPOLD, 88, passed away at Oakridge Center on May 17, 2005. He was a retired official from Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. He was a member of Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral, and a resident of Charleston for 49 years. Robert was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Huntington, attended Belmont Abbey in Belmont, N.C., attended Marshall College, and Huntington School of Business. He was a former member of Charleston Rotary and Charleston and West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert A. and Margaret A. Rappold; brothers James and Ramon Rappold. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Thelma Rappold of Charleston; one daughter, Mary Ann Rappold of Charleston; four sons, Robert Jr., of South Charleston, John of Huntington, David and Thomas, both of Charleston; six grandchildren, Robert III, Stephen, Stephanie, Mary Beth, Joseph and Cecil Rappold; and one brother, Charles Edward Rappold of Baltimore, Md.; three great-grandchildren, Bailey, Molly and Asia Rappold. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday the 20th of May at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral with Father Arthur Bufagle officiating. Burial will be at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington. Friends may call Thursday the 19th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home where there will be a Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m. Donations may be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1143 Dunbar Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25060. Wheeler, 61, of Huntington, a brother of Mrs. L.C. Burgess, of Hinton, was killed by a train at Kenova Monday afternoon, when he stepped from a motor car into the path of an engine. He was a native of Hinton with 40 years of service with the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway, and was employed as a lineman.
