I have two subjects of interest.     I recently found a treasure of personal diaries of my ggrandmother, Maude Whitt Wieford, dating from 1924 until her death in 1945. Needless to say several questions have arisen and several been answered. She mentions that she worked at Sterling Manufacturing in Westmoreland. It appears from her notes that it was some type of clothing factory and that she did piece work. Does anyone know of this company?   Next concerning the diary, she mentions a lawyer named Perry. The years involved here were late 20's and early 30's specifically 1933. There was a suit for custody of Maude's grandchildren in 1933 which she won. Would I have to go to the court house to try and retrieve any notes concerning this hearing or might they be somewhere else?   Has anyone any knowledge of Luther Hayes Rollyson? Family rumor says that he was involved either in a shooting or murder in Cabell County possibly in the 20's or 30's. Where might I find info. about this?   Kathie
