    3. From all of my research these are the locations that I have tracked down for Jonathon Buffington events. I know it is not in Cabell county, but he was born there moved to settle. If you can't open this in Google Earth, Beverly is located approximately half way between the valley from Elkins WV, south on Highway 250 I believe. I was near there just last weekend, but it is a 4 hour drive for me and gas aint cheap. LOL I do appreciate your help and I will check out that other site. Take your time and enjoy your weekend and have some fun discovering new history. :) Ill contact ya next week... I do some research on an Indian massacre/capture event in the area around Greenbrier County now WV that happened in 1763....as a result I have collected some data about Indian events in general over the years. I would be happy to dig around in my "stuff" to see if I have anything on this event. However, I am swamped with family committments and a very interesting weekend coming up in which I have an internet buddy coming in to do a bit of Wooten research. There are three of us who descend from Silas P. and Phebe Wooten of Eastern KY (Silas was in the Revolution) are going to pool resources for the weekend and see if we can come up with any new stuff.... So ask me again at the end of next week to look at my files and piles to see if I can find anything. By the way there is a rootsweb mail list that you might query to see if there is information there. It is named Indian Captives. It is a very quiet list, but sometimes you can find someone to answer a question or two. By the way, Where is Beverly and Leading Creek?
