Linda I have this Amessetta as the daughter of John Plymale and unknown mother (Being Mrs Blankenship) I was sorting out Everett Brown and his family who has Blankenships and Eliza Bates Brown who has Blankenships in her husbands line. So far I have not connected them.     3. Hi Debbie, Found Amacetta Blankenship Porter and James W. Brown's marriage record in the Archives. They were married in Wayne Co. on December 18, 1859. It lists her parents as 'Permelia Blankenship'. Not sure why it didn't list her father's name. Thanks!
