    3. Candie does a fantastic job! She has very little help and puts in countless hours on her personal computer, at her own expense, for the benefit of all who are seeking information about their Cabell County heritage. It is very hard work....I know first hand because I attempted to help her with one tiny little portion of what she does and found that my eyes just couldn't take the hours of computer time required. My hat is off to this caring and giving genealogist who has provided information (and ask nothing in return) for those of us who now live far away as well as those of you who are fortunate enough to live in or near Cabell Co. I'm sure that if you contact her she will more than welcome your volunteering to assist in data input so that it can be put on line faster!!! 3. Linda, I think that I have some "stuff" in my files and piles. Perhaps all that I have are old programs from early Guyandotte days. You may already have all of them. And I would like to write or furnish a small article on Henry Harrison Miller if you do not already have one available. Henry Harrison Miller was captured during the battle (can't remember which day from memory) and he is said to have been taken to Columbus to the prison camp there. His sympathies must have been confederate. He is my 3-great-grandfather. I am very interested in your book. He was a member of the 51st Virginia Regiment known as the Wythe Riffles. He migrated to Cabell County in the 1870's with his wife Mary (Patterson) Cowan and his sister Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Cowan) Patterson and her husband Rev. Rush Patterson. He was a prisoner of war after the battle of Waynesboro and was held at Fort Delaware. He was released at the close of the war. Many Thanks, Martha Rehm P.S. William Cowan is resting in the Old Barboursville Cemetery with his wife Mary and their son Allen.
