    1. [WVCABELL] Bible
    2. In the Bible it has a couple of photos, no names. It also has a family register Taft Carroll b. May 14,1910 Putnam Co. WV. married on June 16,1934 Williamson WV. Married Lavlet Courts b. March 22,1913,Lincoln Co. WV. It list three children all born in the 50s. With out knowing if the children are still living i don't want to post names. One married a Morris and one a Jones. A typed letter from Rev.and Mrs Robert G. Henson they were leaving Milton to go to a Church in South Charleston. A few Mothers day cards and Easter cards there is not a lot of family history in it. I don't get that kind of quick response from people who are related to me ! Anyone who has spent even a small amount of time reading a cemetery knows that it's a long and tenuous task. I applaud Mr. Huffstutler for all the work that he does and hope that he realizes all the valuable information that he has provided to people like me who live a fair distance from Cabell County. So From Someone Who Has Been On The Receiving End Of His Generosity; THANKS BARRY !!! Joel Reece I am researching the Rece / Reece  Family from West Virginia. 3. WOW! great work on that too... of course that knocks out the theory that the Thomas Sands shown in Kansas territory as a 'possible'... and i forgot to mention it said the one in the 1860 census had been bn. in Ohio...no matter...i think we have more clues now and a greater chance to find more info for this family and this would also tie in with Nancy naming her youngest dau. Permilla [which prob. WAS Permelia, eh?] so if this IS the Thomas Sands that married Nancy, it would make his birth year approx. 1823...he would have been about 12 yrs. older than Nancy, at the time they married. and i had no idea about the Mason Co.
