H. Curry, b. 11 April 1846, probably in Cabell Co. Will Curry married Isabella Lawson, d/o Joseph Lawson and Lucy Pauley, at some point and she didn't die until 1949. Isabella was about 17 years younger than Will. Perhaps Will was married three times: first wife unknown, then Emma, then Isabella. If this is the same Will Curry, he served in Company B, 34th VA Cavalry during the Civil War. He was a minister and, at one time was pastor of Mount Moriah Church in Lincoln? Co. He is buried at Harvey's Creek Cemetery, on Rt 34 in Lincoln Co., between Hamlin and Hurricane. I am in hopes that Peter & Elizabeth Bernard Lyon (s) family is in this book. I would love to buy a copy if they are. I believe Daniel Lyon (s) who died in Shelby CO., KY in 1853 is their son. I am trying to find any information about William Adkins and his wife Sarah. I know that he was in Cabell County during the 1830s and 1840s. He had at least one son by Sarah and that was Thomas T Adkins born Feb 1818. I know that WIlliam married Rachel HOLTON but do not know what the date was. I was told that WIlliam Adkins was charged with the murder of Napoleon HOLTON but let off because of a family dispute. Does anyone have any information about this?
