I don't think my Gardners owned Half Moon farm, just perhaps resided on it. One of the oldest living members of my family sat down a decade ago and wrote out a history based on family oral traditions. It was very specific in placing the birth of a Belinda/Melinda Gardner, daugher(s) of William, on Half Moon Farm in Hancock county (or would be so now).
