James was here; 1804 James Jr in 1811. Keep in mind,- Brooke county was formed in 1797. Everything LEGAL went thru these courts, these are similar to "minutes"- anytime they served as a witness were on a jury were road viewer etc. they are listed. He does not show up in the Personal Property TAx records.
