I have found a ?ghost town Ames in Webster Co, WV but no clues as to whether it is the town we are searching for. It is on an 1895 map on the website WVExplorer.com , in the Mountain Lakes area, history section. Keep me in mind if you do find it and I'll do the same for you. dot
