I have just checked the index of my Hawley, Halley Holley book that is at the publisher Heritage Books, Inc. awaiting print. I do not find Joseph H. in the index. If you could get him back a generation or two perhaps I can tie him in. When you are in the area the local library probably has census records and possibly birth records who may help you find the parents and grandparents of Joseph H.
