He appears to have used the Hambleton spelling, but his children mostly appear in records with the Hamilton spelling. John and wife Susannah settled in Brooke Co., VA (now Hancock Co., WV) in the panhandle between PA and OH. Their children were: James m. Nancy Joseph m. Mary Fawcette Hamilton John b. 1774 and m. Isabelle Fillson or Fileen Susannah b. abt 1775 and m. Jesse Street Margaret m. Stephen Cooper Mary Ann m. John Adams Daniel m. Sarah Ann Clinton William b. 1785 and m. Elizabeth Elizabeth m. Eli Hill (daughter) m. Daniel Jackson I am also interested in descendants of these children. I have some of their names, but would like to correspond with anyone else who is researching this family.
