Martha Ralston got her land in 1829 from her parents, she was listed as Martha Ralston- so unmarried at the time, Richard Porter & Martha sell the lot of land Aug 25 1831 Martha's mother Martha Tucker Ralston died July 1839 & is buried with her parents at the Tucker ME Church in Hanover twp, Wash co Pa. Then I found the marriage of Martha Ralston & Abraham Morehead in 1841 in Brooke. I know this Martha was buried at the Morehead cem in Carroll co OH & he remarried. I double checked the dates on the BLM site- Richard Porter of Brooke co VA got land in Carroll co OH 10-10-1831- 82 acres, E1/2 SW Sec 20, Twp 14, Range 6-W Doc Nr. 2774 OH0120_.253 Alexander Porter of Brooke co VA got land in CArroll co OH 10-10-1831 for 75.41 acres, E1/2 SE Sec 12, Twp 14N, Range 7W Ohio river survey, Doc Nr. 2787 OH0120_.266 Guess I need to double check census & cemetery's there in Carroll co for Richard Porter. thanks for your help, treasure it.
