West Liberty is in Ohio County and the STEWARTS in our northern panhandle lived in the current area of New Manchester, Hancock Co., WV. (That area was Ohio Co., VA until 1797, then Brooke Co., VA until 1848. You might post your original query with the Ohio Co. List and state the name of the cemetery to direct interested parties who may have your answer. Julia < I don't have documentation showing where they lived, but I do know John and Lucinda are listed in the Brooke Co. census I believe in 1840 and 1850, and next door is an Elizabeth Stewart with daughter Caroline, both listed in the family Bible. This Elizabeth I believe is John's sister.. . . There is also an Elizabeth Stewart in West Liberty Cemetery who died Jan. 1, 1855, aged 77 yrs....possibly John's mother? >
