List, I don't know the county for certain where my Great Grandmother ANNA ELIZA DOWLING/DOULING was born but supposedly she was born in West Virginia, 1846. I just received her death certificate and her parents were father was DOWLING (no given name) mother (looks like) SARAH PARKS. No place of birth for either of them. My Great Grandmother married ELIJAH PHILLIPS in the late 1870's and were on the 1880 census living in Carnegie, Pa. with Elijah's children from first marriage to ANN KELLER/KELLAR. They were on the 1870 census living in Brooke County. Ann died sometime after that date, not certain when.
