I found the following entries on a Jefferson Co. web site: Early settlers to Jefferson Co., OH Volume E 1806 - 1809 Walter Cain Brooke Co., VA Jan. 19, 1807 Volume C 1809 - 1812 William Cain Junr., Brooke Co., VA March 12, 1812 William Cain Senr., wife Mary, Brooke Co., VA March 12, 1812 (Brooke Co. in the early 1800 was in VA). In early Jefferson Co. marriages I find Aaron Cain, James Cain, John Cain, Mary Cain, Rebecca Cain, Richard Cain, Samuel Cain (my GGG-Grandfather), Walter Cain.
