    3. Hello - I'm new to the list and thought I'd post some of the surnames I'm looking for in the Brooke County area in hopes that someone may have a connection or additional information. PHILIP GOOD was born in Baden Baden, Germany about 1837, and is said to have arrived in the US at the age of 16. I believe his parents were CHARLES and DORGEN (DORA?) GOOD, born about 1800 and 1810 in Prussia and Hanover, respectively. Philip served in the Civil War and was at the Battle of Gettysberg (though I've been unable to substantiate this) and he operated a Bakery and Ice Cream Parlor in Wellsburg. He married Mary FORNEY (FORNI) in 1868 in Monroe Co., OH, and they settled in Wellsburg (and were buried in Wellsburg) Mary Forney's parents were Albenio Maccabeio FORNI and Margaretha Pfeffer FORNI of Powhatan Point, OH (Margaretha was the d. o. Frederick Pfeffer and Mary Kuhn) Philip and Mary Good's known children: Anna Lizabeth Good - b. 1872 m. Marcus Amick PITNER (son of Levi PITNER and Annie MAYBERRY) Joseph Philip Good - b. abt. 1876 Paul Good - b. abt. 1878 Carl Good - b. 1880 Forney Good - b. 1880 - buried Wellsburg Jessie May Good - b. 1881 m. Charles E. KYLE Thanks -- Debbie Moors
