I would like very much to join this Boone County list. Is there anyone on the list who could have information on the Stone family? My grandparents were ANDREW LEE STONE AND JESSICA GLEASON. Both died around 1900 and their two sons -- one of whom was my father -- was reared by their grandparents: RUFUS FULTON STONE AND REBECCA ANN STONE. (That is the correct name: She WAS a Stone before marriage, being the daughter of RICHARD STONE AND MARY POLLY BASHAM. Rufus was the son of HIRAM STONE AND MARGARET PANE. We believe all four are buried in the Foster cemetery but there is no marker. Several family members remember taking Daddy to that cemetery, however. ANY information at all will be truly appreciated, and of course, I will be happy to share any information I have.
