Received some paperwork on Great-Aunt Mamie Browns passing and note, for the records: 1. One newspaper incorrectly listed her as Marie Brown Zimmerman. She was always and only Mamie (no middle name) Brown, married name Zimmerman. 2. One newspaper incorrectly listed her dod as Mon, 7/23/2001. Hospice called me the minute of her death at 8:28 a.m., Tuesday morning, 7/24/2001. Lesson of the day: all obits can be used for reference and info but keep the knowledge that people do make mistakes, even in these times. Modern machinery still run by humans subject to error.
